I’ve been planning this comparison ever since my husband and I came back from our trip to the Canary Islands, but I couldn’t find the time until now. I bought the ANNY polish in Gran Canaria, and I’ve had Every Month is Oktoberfest and Ancient Ruby for quite a long time already.

These three are so close I couldn’t see an ounce of difference in normal daylight, but holding the nails close to a light like this and then adjust the levels slightly in PhotoShop made the shimmer pop a bit more. The only difference I can see is that Every Month is Oktoberfest has a slightly warmer toned red shimmer, Ancient Ruby is slightly cooler and The Answer is Love is slightly cooler still.
Formula wise, I’d say The Answer is Love has the better one of the three, very pigmented and high coverage without being too thick. Every Month is Oktoberfest is sheerer than the other two and requires at least two coats for full opacity and Ancient Ruby has been around for so long that the formula is getting a bit thick but the coverage is still superb.
As far as the price goes, there isn’t much of a difference per ml, but it could vary in availability depending on where you live. If you love vampy shimmers you must own at least one of these!
